01 / Find the friction · Two weeks

UX Audit

Find out why users get stuck in one critical flow, and what to fix first, before you commit to a redesign.

See the UX Audit

You get: An annotated review of up to 10 screens, a prioritised fix list, two or three design directions and a 60-minute walkthrough.
Good fit if: You have a live product with one flow that matters, a test environment or demo account, and you want priorities before a redesign.
Schedule: Day 1 scope, days 2–8 review, day 10 walkthrough, then one round of follow-up questions.

Not a fit if you need a full WCAG or code audit, new research with recruited users (ask us first), or you already know what’s wrong.

02 / Design the fix · Five weeks

Complex Workflow Design

Take one tangled workflow from flow map to clickable prototype and engineering handover, built on your brand and design system.

You get: A workflow map, 8–12 screens with loading, empty, error and permission states, a clickable prototype, reusable components and a live engineering handover.
Good fit if: You understand the problem and the users, have a brand or design system to work within, and one person who can gather feedback.
Schedule: Week 1 map, weeks 2–3 design, weeks 4–5 prototype and handover, with two review rounds.

An audit isn’t a prerequisite. User testing can be added; production code isn’t part of this service.

03 / Lead the team · Monthly

Design Leadership

Senior design leadership without a full-time hire: your designers decide faster, raise the quality bar and hand over work engineering can build.

See design leadership

You get: A 90-minute kick-off and priority map, weekly 60-minute reviews, written feedback within one working day, a decision log, a quality checklist and two coaching sessions per designer each month.
Good fit if: You have one to four designers and no senior lead, one initiative that matters now, and a sponsor who can make decisions.
Schedule: Week 1 understand, weeks 2–4 review and coach, then a month-end recap: continue, adjust or stop.

Your team keeps day-to-day delivery and line management. Not a replacement for a full-time Head of Design.

Digital Foundations

Brand. Website. Presence.

Your logo, website and launch presence, designed together so customers meet one clear business from day one. You own everything at the end.

See digital foundations

Identity: A logo suite, colour and typography foundations, and a concise usage guide.
Website: Agreed pages and responsive design, with a clear enquiry or purchase journey.
Presence: Your LinkedIn page and, where eligible, Google Business Profile set up to match, social images, search settings and a full handover.

Your proposal lists every page and item, the platform and who builds and launches the site. Large online shops and ongoing marketing are scoped separately.

You don’t need a perfect brief. Start with the business, the problem and what you want to change.

Can a small, senior team take on our project?

Yes, because every service is scoped to fit: one flow, one role, one core workflow. Marian leads every engagement personally, and we limit how many run at once so reviews land when promised. If your project needs more, we’ll say so before you book.

When can you start, and do you work across time zones?

We’re UK-based and work with teams in the UK and beyond. Ask for the next start date on your first call. Live sessions are booked at times that suit your team; between them we work asynchronously, with written feedback so nothing waits on a meeting.

Will the recommendations be practical to build?

Yes. Marian started as a front-end engineer, so recommendations account for implementation, include rough effort ratings and identify what needs engineering review or testing. Workflow designs also cover the states your engineers would otherwise guess at.

What if we’re not sure which service fits?

Tell us what’s happening and what you already know. We’ll recommend the most suitable starting point, or let you know if another approach would serve you better.

Can you work with our current product team?

Yes. We work with the people responsible for the product, using your existing research, brand and design system where available. We agree a contact for decisions and feedback at the start.

What happens before work begins?

We define the outcome, deliverables, responsibilities, review points, timing and fee together. Research, development and any ongoing support are included only when agreed in the scope.
